WSSEN West Sussex Social Enterprise Network

Welcome to the West Sussex Social Enterprise Network (WSSEN) pages. The network is currently not active but in these pages you will find information that we hope is useful.

The term 'social enterprise' is used to describe a business model where profit is reinvested principally to fulfill social objectives or to grow the business, rather than maximise profit for shareholders and owners. Examples of social enterprises include some cooperatives and staff mutuals, social firms, community interest companies, some companies limited by guarantee or shares and community enterprises.

If you are running a social enterprise, would like to set one up, or would just like to know more about social enterprise, have a look at our site. We hope you find here information useful to you.
