Town Centres

The County Council is committed to working with partners to champion and sustain West Sussex town centres.

Making sure West Sussex is an attractive place to live, visit and work is important to businesses and to the wider economy, and there is work underway to enhance the vibrancy of our town centres and market towns.

Growth Deals are in place with each district and borough in West Sussex. These partnership pledges outline projects that, over the next five years, will be developed and delivered in our town centres, including a new Creative and Digital Hub in Bognor Regis, and enhancements to the public realm in Crawley and Worthing.

Experience West Sussex features visitor experiences in our towns, including cultural attractions, great places to eat and drink, and fun things to do.

West Sussex County Council is also working with partners to help facilitate conversations around the future of our high streets through 'Let's Talk About Our Towns' events. Find out more about the 2018 event and watch interviews from guest speakers.
