There are a range of regional and local organisations supporting businesses across West Sussex.

Find out about the support and advice available from the Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership; the three area partnerships; the seven district and borough councils and local education institutions.

  • Coast to Capital LEP

    Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is one of 38 LEPs across England, and includes all of West Sussex in its geography. The LEP is a business led partnership between local authorities and businesses and plays a central role in determining local economic priorities.

    The Gatwick Diamond Initiative is a business-led partnership focussed on key strategic issues and working with a wide range of partners. 

  • Rural West Sussex Partnership

    The Rural West Sussex Partnership supports businesses who want to grow in the rural areas of West Sussex.

  • Universities and Colleges

    University of Chichester - The University offers a range of business support services in areas including business networking, student recruitment, degree apprenticeships and start-up support. Email: business@chi.ac.uk

    University of Brighton - The University of Brighton has a long history of working with businesses and can help with recruiting talent, accessing expertise and training workforces. Email: enterprise@brighton.ac.uk 

    University of Sussex - The Univeristy of Sussex can support businesses with a range of services. Get in touch if you are looking to access expertise or would like to know more about recruiting graduates. Email: business@sussex.ac.uk

    Chichester College Group - The Chichester College Group includes Chichester College, Crawley College and Worthing College. You can find information on developing your workforce with further training and apprenticeships.

    Greater Brighton Metropolitan College - The Greater Brighton MET has campuses in both Worthing (Northbrook) and Brighton. The MET is dedicated to delivering high quality employer services.
