STEM Skills

There are more than 40 secondary schools in West Sussex with over 45,298 young people of secondary school age (2015). STEM is a priority in West Sussex. The County Council and its partners are looking to ensure that the county’s students are aware of and inspired by all of the possibilities generated by studying STEM subjects and that local business and industry is at the heart of shaping the STEM initiatives that are delivered.

2015/2016 has seen plethora STEM initiatives delivered across the county. The map below illustrates the major STEM event across the county (as delivered by the official STEMnet provider, STEM Sussex).
